Started with one house in 2013.

How a family warehouse business, a hedge fund desk and a vacant 500,000 square feet led to CAP Venture Group.

Alex Parker grew up in his family's business, Parker Commercial Storage & Distribution, which owns and operates over 1,000,000 square feet of warehousing in Louisville. He started packing rubber in the warehouses and worked up to Director of Business Development before leaving for college.

After college he worked at a Wall Street hedge fund, where he learned investment analysis and markets, and where he first saw real estate as a vehicle for investing back home.

In 2013 his parents' business lost its largest tenant, leaving over 500,000 square feet vacant. Alex took a four-month leave to come home and fill the space. While he was doing that he bought and renovated one house on the side. He stayed. CAP Venture Group was founded that year.

CAP Venture Group was founded in Louisville in 2013. Since then the company has completed 500+ transactions and transacted $100M+ of real estate, including 400+ residential redevelopments and an active rental portfolio held through LST Properties. Over 1,000,000 square feet of warehouse and retail exposure. Partner in a commercial transaction exceeding $20,000,000.
